British Prime Minister Theresa May will meet German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Emmanuel Macron to argue for a Brexit delay while her ministers hold crisis talks with Labour to try to break the deadlock in London. The Trump administration moved toward imposing the tariffs on imports from the European Union. The Trump administration negotiated the USMCA trade deal as a replacement for Nafta. In the week ahead, the U.S. economy will see fresh data on inflation and consumer sentiment. The Federal Reserve will release its March meeting minutes.
