If the world was at risk of sliding into recession, policy makers appear to have pivoted in time to prevent it, although World economy appears to be entering into ‘synchronised slowdown’. One of the big unknowns for U.S. economic growth heading into the presidential election year needs to be sorted out by lawmakers in the coming months.
